On arrival we were told by the motorbike taxi riders that were parked across the small entrance to the hotel, that we couldn't park at the hotel entrance, I then spoke to a lady receptionist that came out to see what the problem was, I told her I was a guest and immediately she had an area cleared for me to reverse into, there is only room for 4 vehicles to park, yet the hotel has 45 rooms!
The lobby/reception area was absolutely filthy, and there were two threadbare settees that a couple of staff used all the time, one was a young lady and her very young daughter used to sleep on one.
We produced our passports, photocopies were made, and passports returned to us.
No key charges were made.
Our room and my son and daughters room both had a funny smell to them, this disappeared once the air con was switched on.
The bed was comfortable to sleep on, but the bedding wasn't white and clean as it should be.
We were asked it we needed the room cleaned as we were leaving the hotel, that's if there was anyone in reception, plus there were no indicators to hang on the door to let staff know.
Bottled water was never brought to our room unless we asked for it, and even then we had to ask three or four times before we got any.
There wasn't a restaurant, or coffee shop, or sauna, or satellite tv as was advertised on the particular hotel website that we used. I have messaged that hotel website.
Don't believe photos that may be shown for this hotel, they were taken when the hotel first opened and make it look very nice.
We didn't pay a great deal of money to stay at the hotel, but I have paid similar amounts at other hotels and had the full facilities and great service.
I will never give this hotel a recommendation, other than don't stay there!
The area the hotel is situated in is a well known area for entertainment, bars and eateries, baht buses and motorbike taxis are plentiful, helpful and cheap.
Local 7-11's are in abundance and sell virtually everything you will need, large and small supermarkets are also nearby.
Clothing market for shorts, tee shirts, sun glasses, shoes etc; is on Tues and Friday.
Pattaya beach is a short walk or bus ride away, Jomtien is a good bus ride away but also cheap. If you go to the area get a better hotel than we had and enjoy your stay.
Ours was a no cancellation deal, that's why we didn't move, we could have changed rooms but the others were no different, and everyone who stays there will have a different feeling or experience of the place, this is just my, my wife's, my son and daughter in laws honest review!
