I have stayed in this hotel for 3 days. Food was good. Rooms were spacious. Swimming pool was clean. Staff was very much supportive. Resort is little bit far from City Center. It is best suited for Honeymooners or couples. It is not suited for family.

Room Tip: Rooms in front of Swimming Pool

My family and I had a brilliant and 'all too short' (because of future travel arrangements) stay at Royal Orchid Resort, pattaya . The service and breakfast were both fantastic and the staff, particularly well led by the hospitable Hotel Manager Rahul, could not do enough to accommodate our needs.

Room Tip: We had room on 2nd floor with nice and big balcony......

This hotel was the last resort as it was new year and all others were full. Very tired looking hotel damp on the walls, air-con very weak and cracked panels around the ceiling. changed to another room even though was told we had the last room . Huh!!! all rooms were empty until about three coaches of Indians arrived no problems till next evening when they had all gone and three coaches full of Chinese arrived they were noisy, and always huddled together everywhere.Gave up on breakfast. third crowd to arrive on New years eve was 3 coaches of Thais also very noisy but no problems. The rooms are in need of renovation staff were friendly and rooms were clean a bit out of the way needed transport everyday and night.

Room Tip: make sure you get a hotel room not the chalets there is a bar but always closed and the swimming pool was old the place is secure so that was good.

Hi Mr. Michael,

Thanks for staying with us at Royal Orchid Resort, Pattaya.

We are glad that you found our staff to be friendly and helpful. We have done some touch up work in our rooms, which helped us to maintain and keep our rooms in good condition.

You are right, we do have majority of Indian, Chinese, Russian and Thai guests that’s why we got many guests coming from these countries.

We hope to have an opportunity to provide our assistance again in near future.

Best Regards
Manager at Royal Orchid Resort, Pattaya

To begin with, I am appalled by the number of negative reviews on this hotel.

Perhaps I was lucky to have got the best of what the hotel had to offer.

Nice Indian breakfast (a boon for veggies like us), great room service, large rooms with balcony, and easy access to beach road and walking street.

The bed is a bit hard as some members have suggested but otherwise we had a very pleasant stay!

Mr. Atif was very helpful with his quick tips and he also packed lunch for us on the day we departed to Bangkok.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and loved every bit of it.

All negative comments on staff is pretty much unjustified.

Room Tip: All rooms are large. If you can afford it, go for the one with a private Jacuzzi :)
