Thank God I picked Le Prive for my first time to Pattaya, the hotel and the owners were the saving grace of our stay in Pattaya which is just a big sprawling city with little or no saving graces.
Le Prive is as others have said a little oasis and the pool area is truely tranquil but shaded by the trees and surrounding buildings in the afternoon.
Both Jesus and Jean Louis are excellent and attentive hosts who will endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Breakfast is very good and well presented if a little on the expensive side.
Rooms are very well thought out and very atmospheric with a great super comfortable quality bed (not th eusual rock hard offering).
We got a tip for a good beach to sunbathe on that is quite close by at the Asia Pattaya Hotel. This is a small beach with proper sunloungers and a couple of bar/restaurants which is not crowded and a great place to sunbathe and relax.
There are some good massage places just out on the main road, the one with the bright green chairs on the opposite side of the road has super friendly girls and good massage.
Altos bar and restaurant has good and very reasonable food (near the massage place).
We really enjoyed our stay at Le Prive but didn`t like the sprawling mass that is Pattaya at all.More
