Very nice hotel in the old quarter, but away from the noisy part. It's only a five minute walk from the north side of the lake. We enjoyed a room with a balcony which was really nice (Not usefull btw). We also had another hotel in hanoi (emirald waters) but this one definitely had a nicer room. The breakfast was a bit minimalistic.

Rooms look nicer on the pictures then they are in reality.

For anyone entering Vietnam for the first time or the return traveler, This hotel is a great place to start and then return again and again. Good price, clean rooms, good breakfast, attentive staff and always someone to help one with the numerous questions you might have.
I've used the car service three times and booked two day trips, through the hotel, in my first two stays. Ryan and the lady that works the desk, were very helpful with all my issues. Great location for everything Hanoi. You'll enjoy your stay.

Room Tip: Rooms higher up are more quiet. Possible out side view.

The staff and most especially Manager Ryan of Graceful Hotel went the extra mile to make advance arrangements for our stay in their hotel, and were extremely efficient and helpful with all we needed while staying there.

They kept our big bags while we were in Halong Bay and Da Nang, they assisted with everything from airport pick up, taxi rides around the city, restaurant and food guidance, even spa/massage/hair treatments.

The room we stayed in (with balcony and street view) was just the right size for a couple like us, the bed was comfortable, the shower area not too big but worked out ok. It was kept clean every day. Wifi signal was strong.

Lots of choices for breakfast, lots of street food just a few steps outside.

I would recommend this hotel, better to email them directly and tell them what you need ahead of time. Manager Ryan speaks and writes excellent English.

Me and my wife stayed here for 5 nights. The location in the old quarter of Hanoi was perfect. Easy access to street foods, markets, bars and shopping. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel room was nice and clean and good size. If I could change one thing only that would be the size of the ensuite bathroom. A little cramped but apart from that a very good place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again.

Our stay at the Graceful Hotel was split because of a trip we took to Sapa. Ellie and the staff at the hotel were more than friendly and were always accommodating. When we left for Sapa they invited us to keep our bags at the hotel while we were treking, so it allowed us the freedom to travel with just some day bags.. The staff was always quick to help us with recommendations for lunch and dinner. The hotel offers a breakfast which was a perfect way to start the day. If you are looking at exploring life in the old quarter then certainly check out the Hanoi Graceful hotel. It as a warm and inviting retreat in the heart of a crazy town...

Room Tip: When booking a room make sure you book the room with a balcony. There are some rooms that do not have windows.
