Excellent museum. Learn about the small cultural clusters (tribes) that are slowly fading away...sadly.

The museum became quite 'samey' after a while as you saw the typical housing of each ethnic group, followed by traditional dress for each group etc. Well set out, but not the most interesting.
I found this museum to be really interesting. It shows you how the ethnic cultures of the Vietnamese live in the mountain areas. Their beliefs, customs, clothes etc. You can even enter full replica houses and watch how they were built and assembled on site. I was quite surprised at how much I enjoyed my visit.
very interesting museum, that is not imposing a main stream view about the homogeneity of Vietnam. More than 50 ethnies to melt in a single country ...
Les explications écrites sont très bien faites.
You will see Vietnam differently.
Interesting background of Vietnam ethnic cultures. Especially worthwhile if not visitoring mountain areas
