After days dealing with the noise, pollution, dirt, pace, scooters, small streets, and general chaos of the Old Quarter in Hanoi, this hotel is literally a blessing! I'm not sure why it wasn't ridiculously full when it's only a 7 minute $4 taxi ride! If you want quality, exceptional treatment, peaceful rest and are willing to pay a mere $40 more ($125 a night Aus) then I insist this is the hotel for you. After two nights in the old quarter in the same rated hotel, this place blew my mind. A fantastic way to end a hectic holiday for a soft Australian 😊

We had a really good time here, the apartments are clean, modern and reasonably comfortable. The staff are exceptional, particularly the front office; Jenny Nguyen dealt with all our queries before arrival superbly and was really helpful during our stay. The breakfast is average, they do make good omellettes but the coffee is truly dreadful - though they will make a very good Americano on request, at a price. Our only other gripe was that they stated the pool was heated and it's not, a shame as its beautiful but just too cold to swim in. Other than that I would recommend this unreservedly. And do try May's restaurant just across the road - they do a really good set lunch for £2.50 and we had some wonderful dishes in the evening as well.

Room tip: Ask for a lakeside view.

Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Just outside city centre. Location is very close to town but it can still take 15min or so to get into city centre due to traffic. quiet location. Breakfast buffet is ok

We booked the biggest and most expensive room of this building a room with 3 bedrooms and we waited a room like the photos but the room was smallest and exactly different. The building is far away of the center in the middle of nothing. The room at 7th floor with back view and not front to the lake. No paints on the walls no mirrors out of the bathrooms. The safe box it was in one bedroom! No televisions in rooms! The 'master bedroom' has basic furniture. The second just one bedside table and a small closet. The third one just one double bed! The second day we found just three towels and no shampoo! The breakfast good for three star hotel, none cooked crepes or omelets. When we did check out they told us to wait to check our room first and they asked where is the other two towels! They charged my credit card in American dollars all other hotels in Vietnamese dongs, i am not American so i paid two times commission.
