“Strong coffee”

Super strong and awesome coffee. A must see and must try if you really want to sit among the locals and enjoy good vietnamese coffee. Be sure to have some food before coffee, as taking it with an empty stomach may cause some dizziness because the coffee is just too strong. Seats are limited though.

In Ho Chi Minh City you can see dozen of coffee shops and cafes. People sits by the roadside or in a stylish indoor setup for coffee. Cheo Leo Cafe is quite special in that it is the oldest coffee shop in Saigon. It is hidden in a narrow street of District 3. And you can see people sit comfortably in an old and dimmed coffee shop, enjoying their time with a glass of ice coffee and ice tea.

I tried the iced coffee with milk and it tasted great! It was just awesome sitting among locals, listening to Vietnamese music and enjoying a glass of chilling Vietnamese ice coffee in the afternoon.

Located in hidden alley, from the outside look very vintage, great ambience, we can go to the kitchen to see how to make the coffee by traditional method. Thanks Saigon Vespa Tours introduce this coffee shop for me. LOVE IT

This coffeeshop is historical! Loud music, fantastic iced coffee, hot chocolate and iced tea for only VND35k!

Still using the old way to make the coffee, mostly are local people. No English menu. But could really relax and feel the peace time to enjoy the nice coffee.
