This hotel is not quite what the business card shows but it is a fair guest house. Breakfast was included but due to communication difficulties it took a little time. The rooms are very old fashioned, equipped with Carebear quilts and shower over toilet - meaning the bathroom was always soaked after showering. Towels were also due for disposal. There also always seemed to be a flurry of family, friends, and scooters in the small lobby. Highly recommended for short stays, great location to beach and restaurants.

I found this hotel on a normal hostel website. It was fairly inexpensive, and close to the beach. The people working seemed to be a family, who didn't speak much english. But they were very kind and accommodating. They helped me rent a bike for the few days I was there. The rooms are also pretty nice. Nothing fancy, but clean and a private bathroom. I would recommend this place over other places as it is inexpensive and close to the beach.

The Kim Uyen hotel is clean and friendly and good value for money. The main girl who works on reception is very helpful and it felt safe with added bonuses such as A/C, private bathroom and cable tv.
I stayed during a festival and the hotel seemed to be mainly Vietnamese tourists and the hotel is close to the beach, but about 15-20 minutes walk (and I walk fast - I'm a Londoner!) from the restaurants and bars (including Vietnamese). Would potentially reccommend looking for somewhere slightly closer to teh action for solo travellers but it was a nice place to stay.

My partner and I arriveed in Nha Trang at around 10:30pm and was greeted by a gentleman from the Kim Uyen hotel (as promiced) which was a good start, furthermore, he arranged a taxi for us to follow him on his bike and then paid the taxi driver when we got to the hotel.

We originally booked 3 nights at this hotel but ended up staying 5 nights as it was just really clean and the staff were really lovely. Anything you wanted they couldn't help you enough, nothing was ever too much trouble.

On the morning we left they gave us 2 big bottles of water as a thank you for staying with them, I was really touched by their kind gesture. They also chased up our bus by ringing the company on our behalf twice; when the bus did finally arrive, they stood by the door and waved us off!!

It's also in a great location, literally 5 minutes from the beach. They also have a tour desk to help with any tours/transport you want arranging.

We were on an overnight bus from Hoi An to Nha Trang and the bus driver took us here (He was taking the passengers to numerous hotels and I am assuming it was because he got commission). The room was $7 for our 3 beds. They charged us $2 extra per day for the air conditioner.

While the hotel had an excellent location for the price (2 blocks from the beach), I was not pleased with not having our room cleaned daily and not having fresh towels. Towels are so scarce there!!! Also, our tub did not have shower curtain so water was splashed EVERYWHERE in the bathroom so water was consistently on the floor every time we used the restroom! It just got so disgusting that we left to get a fresh hotel room.

It did have a 13" (?) TV with cable, a small fridge that was below it and it was quiet (We stayed in Room 101). There are no elevators so we were glad to be on the 1st floor. There are 2 computers downstairs. Other than that, bring your own towel if you are coming here!
