“Nice setting but food ordinary ”
Review of Namaste India

Namaste India
Ranked #77 of 1,670 Restaurants in Phnom Penh
Certificate of Excellence
Price range: US$1 - US$10
Description: This intimate Indian eatery along the chic strip known as Bassac Lane has rebranded and updated its menu of delicious dishes from the north and south of the subcontinent. You’ll find the chef’s recommendations coincide with your all-time favourites such as lamb roghan josh, chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, aloo gobhi, saffron pilaf rice and cheese naan. Its not all gluttony, though – there are healthy plates like the detoxifying rice-daal combo of Ayurveda khichdi or the herb yoghurt-basted Hariyali chicken kebab. No apologies for the fact you’re probably salivating right now.

The restaurant is busy and nice setting with decent service
Good WiFi
Drinks offered and served quickly
Prices are cheap which is not always great
Vegetable samosas were great
Other dishes lacked any flavor n spice
Thought the quality of the chicken was not good
Hard to recommend

Large menu hitting all the Indian favorites. Good service. Nice ambiance - more than one might expect. $14 for a very fulfilling meal for two.

Just around the corner from where we were staying, really enjoyed the Masala Dosa. Excellent value for money in comfortable environment.

Really enjoyed the visit here. I have now become a bit of a regular. The food is fresh. Particularly the Kababs - hot, well cooked and soft.

I also like the hospitality. Our host Mr. Sandeep Rawat is great in giving advise on food combinations and making adjustments to dishes if requested. Overall great service and he looks after us well.
