Our room was not ready on our arrival and the staff did a quick clean up, but the bed covers were torn and stained, there was dust and girls long hair on the floor. After a couple of days we were told to move to another room, no explanation was given, this room was also dirty with a blocked bathroom drain that was surrounded by black slime.
The back of the toilet was covered in dried on faeces and the mirrors had not been cleaned, a layer of thick dust was on the floor under the small table. the walls were marked and paint had peeled off. The curtain pull cords had been replaced with string and were difficult to close, also half the lights in the room did not worked. The room was not cleaned in the thirteen days we stayed there. The bookings were made in advance and the hotel wanted full payment at the time of booking.

5 years ago we stayed at the Green House. It was very good. Now it is very dirty and run down. We walked into our room to find a used condom on the floor.
A major overhaul is needed. There are no tea or coffee facilities. Not recommended at all. When you see a sign outside on the road advertising a room for $5 for 3 hours it makes you think that something else is going on there as well.
Our room had no toilet seat as it was broken. Very little English was spoken so it was hard to explain a situation. Make sure you know just how many nights you are paying for or you will get charged extra.

Room Tip: Don't go to the Green House until it has been renovated.

The stairs smell funky and have spider cobs around. The room had a lot of dirt stucked on it. The linens had hair from other persons PRIVATE PARTS! It was discusting. The bathroom was dirty as well. If you want to stay in this area Confort Inn looks like a better option for 3 dollars more.

Room Tip: Go to another hotel!!!

i stayed in a double room at the green house. the room was clean and very spacious except it always smelled stuffy for some reason. the staff were friendly but didn't have any maps to give and didn't know much about the area. the location is close to the russian market which was good but the walk to and back from the hostel at night for a girl could be a little unsafe (that's what we heard at least). there's a computer in the lobby but the mouse was not working most of the time and the staff were helpful trying to fix it or try another one but it was always a hassle to just check my email for a few minutes.
