I arrived at this hotel in the middle of the night and there was super loud music going in the street which I could still hear in my room. The rooms itself were a bit dirty and bathroom was just awful and worn down. There was even a sign on the door saying that guests aren't allowed to make p*rn videos in the room. If you're told that, you know you're in a crappy place.

If your looking for a budget hotel this is an ok option. We stayed here 2 nights. I would return but would probably try other places first As there is nothing special about this. It seemed kinda run down. There was signs in the dorm saying filming porno in the room is illegal, which leads me to believe there is alot of sexual activity that happens here, maybe prostitutes?! Either way it dis the trick, breakfast was OK.

My biggest disappointment is that the staff are really great and truly reflex the kindness
of the Khmer people. this is only why I stay at lease one night when in Phnom Penh.
That being said the hotel Management need an intervention. the hotel is located in the
nightlife area, many bars, clubs and food option are steps away. the rooms need renovation ASAP, Amenity need improvement etc. the bottom line is there are better
hotel option within the area. Great staff, hotel today one star. Guest friendly.

Room Tip: room value, decor and pleasantries sadly are now poor

I stayed here 4 years ago and it was good but has seriously gone downhill. The room had obvious damage (from ripping out the old TV from the stand), the sheets were thin, the hallway lights didn't work (had to find my room keyhole in the dark), had to request towels and really wait for them, the "security" guy was asleep and trouble to wake him, the included breakfast didn't happen, it seemed the place is now managed by kids and not the adults like before. The aircon was very loud and i could easily hear local construction. After one noisy night i moved down the street. Even the guy that picked me up from the airport this time couldn't speak 3 words of English (unlike past drivers). Wifi was unusable. TV reception crapped out halfway through the afternoon. Pretty much a fail on all fronts imo. Not the same hotel i used to know. Won't be using this hotel in the future.

Room Tip: Go about 50 metres down 172 street to a better hotel.
