The room was big with a view across to the night markets along the river. The Hotel is a bit different, looks and feels tired. The nightclub next door seems to close by 11:00pm, we slept fine. Front desk staff are ok but the restaurant staff didn't bother to cook breakfast for us even though we were there at 6:30am when breakfast is suposed to start. We noticed a really bad drain smell in the lobby area late in the evening and also near the restaurant. Overall not good value compared to other places for the money.

Room Tip: Definitely ask for front rooms

it seems you have the choice of getting an overpriced room right next to the main drag (riverside) - even with earplugs it's nearly impossible to sleep. If you complain enough you might get the option of changing to a room with "no view" - that means an overprices windowless box.

The breakfast is a bad joke, the staff neither friendly nor helpful.

And in case you're looking at the agoda website: they don't allow really bad reviews so don't wonder why the ratings there are a lot better than on Tripadvisor.

The location across from the night markets and Mekong River is excellent. It is also close to many restaurants and eateries and within walking distance of many major attractions. The decor of the hotel is quite quirky. Our room faced the Mekong and had a great view although not all rooms share this view. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good free wifi connection as well. The included breakfast offered a reasonable choice. On the downside this hotel is very expensive in comparison to other hotels in the area. It also has no computer facilities for guests other than one sad little computer in the lobby that did not always work.

OK, the location is good but that is where the positives of this hotel stops.

Booked through Agoda. On arrival the reception seemed disinterested and bored with minimal communication (realised we were interrupting a Facebook chat).

Overall this hotel is tired, rundown and poorly maintained. The 1st night was in a room where the mattress was broken, sagged to one side and had springs sticking out, the linen and curtains were stained, the bathroom was filthy and moldy, and the A/C was noisy and dripped continuously. Asked to change rooms the next morning as it was impossible to sleep on the mattress and was given another room that was slightly better, however sleep was disturbed by noise from the bar next door and the A/C clanked away (eventually had to keep turning it on and off), this room was infested with mosquitoes (just could not work out where they were coming from), and again the cleaning was below par.

The buffet breakfast looked like leftovers from the previous night.

Room Tip: Find a different hotel.

Its location is top notch, but many hotels in the area with almost equally good location-The room I got
lay next to a VIP room for a girl carrying on the street. It meant music every day to 11.30 pm and as high as any sleep was unpossible.Internet free and ok Breakfast is from 6.30 am, but the bread came in a little 7.am and was very below average, with selections from other hotels (not gotten so bad breakfast for many years on trips). Good thing the hotel when the hotel was the staff at the reception and clear up the room. very nice and helpfull. But overall not a hotel I will use again.the Price may also be found better on other hotels in Riverside
