For only the second time I can say that the room was exactly as pictured on their website. It was HUGE! - - - and that was the small room!
Check-in went well. The clerk at that time was quiet, but spoke English. There was another who took the suitcase up. (He disappeared while I was turning my head to note the spacious size.)
Internet worked. Not much of a view (but I wasn't at the room a great deal). Wardrobe with slippers, thick robe, hangers, and other amenities. Desk was handy. Two chairs for relaxing. Bed very firm. Minimal space between beds. Corner room so there were windows on two sides for extra light. Laundry service was quick and it was nice to have clean clothes after being out in the country. (Only 2USD for a pair of jeans.)
The tub was great to have after the long walking to the 'main' part of town. Location might be great for business folks (as there appeared to be many business folks there as well as numerous other hotels geared for such), but it's a ways from the tourist attractions and food areas. Decent walk, but still closer, was a mall, cinema and the amusement park.
I did try the restaurant. Service was nice. Atmosphere was pleasant. Mongolian food was great. Price was somewhat expensive for UB, but very reasonable by western standards. Portion was quite grand.
They were very considerate and helpful. I enjoyed the stay.
