I stayed in Eterno Boutique hotel for 3 nights.
The location of the hotel is in the heart of Istanbul very near the Taksim square and in the valley that you can find lots of restaurants and supermarkets around. By some minutes walk you can reach Taksim square where you can find everything from clothing to traditional food.
Hotel staff were ok in compare with other same hotels but not very helpful.
Rooms are small and very old. Bathroom and shower are very small even difficult tor one person to take shower because of the small space of it! My room was in 7th floor and when I asked the receptionto change it to a better one he said even yours is one the best ones!!
Nothing complimentary in the room even a water boiler. If you need hot water you have to ask the reception and they would bring you just a cup of hot water and no more!!!
Hotel breakfast is in -1 floor and the options are reasonable but not efficient. The restaurant itself was very small.
WiFi is announced to be free in all the hotel areas but the speed is awful. You can just use it to check simple emails or some social networks but just in some hours of the day.
With this price in compare with other Normal hotels not boutique ones, it is not worth paying it or at least better not to go in high seasons like July and August!

Stayed: August 2015

This hotel is walking distance from Gezi park and it is perfect. Easily reachable from the airport by the underground, this hotel is moments away from the Istiklal. However the hotel itself it is not as perfect as its location. As long as we got in we released that it is not exactly what we saw in the pictures. They gave us a single room while we paid for a double (it is impossible to live in two in such a small ambient) the wardrobe was not even enough for one person, lights were simply ridiculous: the bathroom was nearly in the dark. Wi-fi covers all floors but unfortunately there is not connectivity which means that even if all your electric devices like laptop, smartphones or tablet are perfectly connected you cant surf normally as internet is extremely slow, so you are forced to go to the reception in order to use your device properly. Breakfast was poor. This hotel has to do a lot of work before being considered as "comfortable" or "value for money". If you are looking for a place where you don't want to feel like a lion in a cage, I suggest to look around and avoid Eterno hotel.

Room Tip: Ask them when you book online to avoid surprises
