David and Moshe operate the G38. Hard-working Mary keeps it very clean.
We successfully assembled our stay via internet two months in advance. We spent six days. This was a perfectly central location for us. There are two small markets within two blocks, a beverage/snacks/ice store one block away. We were a few hundred meters from the Ben Gurion Avenue social strip. Northeast of that were the Baha'i Holy Places UNESCO World Heritage site and UNESCO Plaza.

A free local cell phone was provided. If it isn't viewable in your native language, Moshe or David will be happy to make it so. We visited a number of places outside Israel, our total phone extras ended up being $40 US, so this local phone can help your budget.

There is also a room safe and a washer-dryer in the basement with laundry supplies provided.

We cooked a few meals from our units little kitchen with great success. We ate in our unit, on the table outside our door, but did not take our meals to the roof which would have been excellent.

We had a room on the second floor adjacent to Hameginem Avenue. It is a main traffic corridor, fairly well silenced when the street-side windows were closed. I suggest a room facing the bay.

Very secure, excellent stay. Wonderful people everywhere.

Room Tip: I suggest a room in a sea-facing unit.

Stayed 3 nights at the G38 in August and wasn't disappointed. Good value for money and a decent location v.close to the Bahai Temple. Few convenience stores within a minute's walk which sell drinks, fruit, snacks & toileteries to keep you going. Within 5 minutes, plenty of bars and restaurants to visit.

The room I stayed in was spacious - although I got a superior apt for just myself so no problem, but big enough for 2 easily. There is kitchen area, and a desk, with TV and storage space. Floor is just the raw plaster but there are some mats, but not an issue. Air Con and fans make the room very cool in what is a hot and humid place!

They supply towels and toliet roll and if you need more they are accommodating and will provide. WIFI works well and is easy to access.

The roof top is big enough to sit out, but they only have chairs and benches and if they had loungers it would be more comfortable.

A great base to stay if you don't want to pay big hotel prices.

Room Tip: Get as big a room as you can as the small ones are in the ground floors and are much smaller.

What a find! We had no idea that this well-priced and stylish apartment would be so close to the hottest restaurants and so well situated to visit other sites. And, parking was a breeze. We used our four nights in this comfortable place to visit the Baha'i gardens then drove to and from Akko, Ceasaria and Ein Hod...all "must-sees" if you have the time.
David and Moshe were super as our luggage was delayed by the airlines and we weren't able to resolve this easily without their help and the cell phone they provided.
Kitchenette was used for breakfast (a good alternative for us), bed was comfy and bathroom large. The only negative was that we did not know we were responsible for toilet paper after the first roll. However, we were supplied another roll when we asked.
If we ever visit Haifa again, we'll be sure to stay here again.

We recently stayed in G38 for 5 nights. Location is close to the Baha'i gardens and to a street lined with quality restaurants. Also, there are few small convenient shops almost next to the apartments which supplied us with necessities. The beds were comfortable and had nice linens, towels were superb-the best we've had in any rental apt. or hotel. Wi-Fi and appliances worked well, although we had not used TV. On the third floor where we stayed was a nice terrace with a beautiful view of Haifa port (you can see the sea) and surrounding streets. There is no elevator, however we didn't have much luggage so it was not a problem. The basement has laundry facility with 2 washers and a drier (detergent provided) - everything is free of charge. The interior is decorated IKEA style - clean and simple which we liked. There are 5 parking spots in front of the building where we parked for 2 nights. On 3 other nights we had to park on the street - it is free and we didn't have any problems finding a parking spot. Neighborhood is residential and felt very safe - would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: If you have difficulty walking ask for the 1st floor since there is no elevator.

I highly recommend G38 for your stay in Haifa because the rooms had everything needed including a small kitchen with few utensils and a safe to secure valuables. The owners, David & Moshe, were very very nice and friendly adding to the great experience. They even provided a free local cell phone and free laundry service inside the building. Beautiful rooftop to enjoy outdoor seating with a great view. The building was very safe, modern and in a good location. You won't regret booking at G38!
