The Jerusalem Panorama Hotel is not what the advertising claims it to be. It has very poor accommodation which is suitable for people who do not care about hygiene and safety standards.
The ‘panoramic view’s’ promised by advertising is only available partially from the floor breakfast room only. No bedroom has access to the panoramic view as new buildings are blocking it badly. I have illustrated evidence with photographs I have taken but I cannot photograph the experience of the mould and rotten smell on the corridor carpets, people need to go to experience this.
The advertised views of the Garden of Gethsemane, is false as it cannot be seen from the hotel even if you have binoculars. Next to the hotel there is a big vegetable store and an overflowing permanent skip that smelling. You can walk to the old city lions gate. At night time, some taxis refuse to take passengers to the area where the hotel is, saying that it is not safe. This says a lot of about the location of the hotel and why it is so cheap compared to other hotels.More
