If you're religious, then you should visit. It's the epitome of religious tourism. You'll get to see other believers at prayer and feel the emotion of being in such a joy place

Located in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, the church contains, according to tradition dating back to at least the fourth century, the site where Jesus was crucified, at a place known as "Calvary", and Jesus's empty tomb, where he is said to have been buried and resurrected. Controlled mainly by the Greek Orthodox Church, it shares time with Roman Catholics, and others. The church is large, and very crowded, and entrance to the tomb itself is limited and very brief. We were fortunate to have a Franciscan friar as our guide, and experienced mass INSIDE the tomb, next to the rock on which Jesus was laid - what an experience, as hundreds waited outside, and we spent half-an-hour in worship. The Church is less crowded in late afternoon, and it is more likely that the average tourist will have a better experience then. Whether you believe or not, and we do, the two millenniums of worshipers alone, is enough reason to visit the site. This is a historic, and more importantly a spiritual destination, not to be missed.

The reams of people in this site are unbelievable. The mosaic on the back wall as you enter is impressive and the religious sites, whether you believe that this is the real place of Jesus' crucifixion and burial, are worth noting.
