My wife and I visited the Knesset while touring Jerusalem in November, 2017. It was time well spent. Our guide, Isaac, was interesting and very informative. We cam away with a better understanding of how Israel works. Take the time to come and I would recommend taking the tour on Thursdays. The Knesset is not in session, so you can visit the main meeting chamber.

Our tour guide arrannged the tour for us so I don't know how it was arranged but it was great. The tour guide for the Knesset not only explained the building but also gave some history and explained the Parliamentary system of government. In light of recent events in Jerusalem I am very glad that this tour was arranged for us.

I like visiting parliaments if they are accessible and interesting. The Knesset isn't an especially beautiful building outside, but the tour of the building, it's history (it was originally on King George St in down town Jerusalem) and seeing it in action is inspiring. There are many different tours available and it's also possible to attend a plenary session and see the knesset in action. I have and it's good to be able to understand the geography of the chamber, who sits where from the memshelah- government, to the opposition etc.

This tour needs a booking time, as it is not always open and some tours do not have it on their tour, because of that. A interest building and ainterest to people that are into Politic's of a country. You go through a security check ever before entering to see it. Security is tight all over Israel.
