All in all I liked the hotel, there were just a few things that annoyed me.

The first thing was the reception. For some reason it's on the topfloor of the hotel. Why not on the groundfloor? There was plenty of room.

The hotel is situated in a beautifully restored Bauhaus building and the rooms are nicely designed and of a decent size.

But why were there no hooks in the bathroom or in the room proper? My towels were draped over a chair in the room.

I booked a room with a balcony of its own - great. But the chairs on the balcony were very uncomfortable. I tried bringing the chair (with the draped towel :-)) to the balcony, but it was too big. I'm sure the balcony chairs were designed by a very famous designer, but I really would prefer a less expensive chair that you can actually sit in without hurting your back.

The hotel is located just next to the Carmel Market and very close to Shenkin and King George Street with a lot of cafés and restaurants, and it only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach.

The rooftop with the bar and the pool is just great and the reason why I'm considering booking another stay a Poli House

We have returned a second time and will be back again. Rooms are small but nicely designed and comfortable, service is excellent, staff extremely attentive, and the pool and pool bar are wonderful!
Plus being in the heart of fun Tel Aviv is a great bonus.

Spent a perfect mid-week night. Fantastic location, on the entrance to the Carmel Market and next door some of Tel-Aviv's best urban experiences. Huge variety of shops, cafe's, bars & restaurants are within an easy walking distance, and an easy 10 minute stroll will get you to the beach.
The hotel itself is perfectly suited for a city break and to any vistor who doesn't need huge public areas, crowds and noise. The rooms are nicely designed, very comfortable and functional. The rooftop pool is fantastic, with plenty of lounge chairs a great bar with friendly and efficient staff, and premium views over the heart of Tel-Aviv, all the way to the Med.
Highly recommended for couples looking for an intimate city stay, or even business travelers looking for a change to the big chain hotels.
