The Jaffa flea market covers several blocks in Jaffa not far from the clock tower. It is a mix of stores, stallsl, and carts. Anything and everything is for sale. Mixed in are boutique stores and dining venues. Some merchants seem to specialize and others are selling anything that comes their way. Good people watching, easy browsing and an interesting view into middle eastern shopping. Hope this helps.

The place is colorful and surprising. A colorful place for photography. On Friday afternoon, just before the Sabbath, you can join a Greek Tavern for music, drinks and food. Wonderful restaurants, look for Puah Restaurant. Special stores and interesting people.

I really enjoyed wandering around the colourful, eclectic market - from the finest of produce to almost Steptoe-level junk. Full of colour and character and characters! Opera singing on street corners, juice stands, and more - the sights, smells and sounds. It's an immersive experience if you allow it to be, at the heart of a lovely part of Tel Aviv.

Thank barrera

I was just window shopping, and inquired about a souvenir next thing you know the vendor is shoving it at me, and trying to get me to hold the item. I was not prepared to pay his initial price, was too high, he eventually lowered the price to a more reasonable price. A different vendor's tactic was to put a bracelet on me, and was trying to convince me it was perfect. I was not looking to buy the bracelet and had to tell her many times, eventually she backed off.
