The Clermont is in a quiet residential area of West Amman. The area is quite dull, there is absolutely nothing around and there is really no reason to stay there unless you have to be in that area. If you really really have to stay in that area then the Clermont is an ok choice, mostly because its probably the only one unless you can afford the 4 Season or the Sheraton. There is no restaurant or Cafe in the hotel, so for everything you have to jump on a taxi and go elsewhere.

For a budget hotel my stay here was fantastic! The reception staff were extremely helpful and attentive, writing directions for taxi drivers in Arabic for us, helping with heavy bags and generally very friendly.
The only downside was a few little stains on the bedding and a little bed of a leaky shower, but for what I paid and I received in levels of service I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Thank you Clermont!!!

This serviced apartment was excellent value for money for our 3-night stay in Amman. Four of us shared a two bedroom apartment and it worked out just £53 per person for the whole stay! The apartments are clean and modern.
If you stayed here you'd really need a car or taxi to arrive in. It's not in the busy downtown area of Amman but in a much more pleasant residential area.
One thing to be away of - if you search Clermont Hotel Suites in Google Maps, it tells you the wrong location! Search for Al Heera Street instead.

The main reason we stayed here was because of the two bed room suites. With a family of five we need a lot of room. The bedrooms were good size with a large living room and kitchen. The staff was very nice and friendly. They gave us credit for the one morning we did not eat breakfast. It's in a residential area but Mecca Mall is minutes away in a taxi.

Only issues we had were with the A/C, it leaked water in the living room and too much of hot water. Staff did come and fix the A/C once but then it leaked again at night. But this time I was told "the expert" would not be available until the morning.

Our family of five wanted to stay in Amman rather than Madaba on the final night of our Jordan adventure. We are on a tight budget, so Clermont Hotel Suites really suited us. Located in a residential neighbourhood just off 5th circle, our suite was clean and spacious with decent beds, a large living room and a kitchen. The only thing to let us down was the hot water: too much of it. A malfunction with the bathroom taps meant the water was scaulding. Apart from that, we had no complaints. The two staff were helpful, parking was available, and the cost was a fraction of what we would have paid at a 2 or 3 star chain hotel.
