It is a good hotel for layover , transit flights its okay , not terrible , the staff is really nice, the food was okay wasn’t the best but it was okay, it does it’s purpose , and the best thing about the hotel is that its very close to the airport.
The Airport Hotel is only 5 minutes driving from the Amman International airport. The hotel offers a free shuttle service and the check in process at arrival is efficient. There is a wake-up service for early flights. Rooms are slightly outdated and there is lack of maintenance, Beds are uncomfortable (very hard) and there is no heating in the rooms (very cold in January). The restaurant looks not attractive and the food offerered is only a small buffet with not much choice and average quality. Wine is not served per glass. Breakfast is also very poor, hardly any choice. No fresh fruits. Price level (> 130 Euro) is far too high compared to the offered service.
Stayed in this hotel overnight after Royal Jordanian Airlines (also a horrendous choice) cancelled our flight without so much as even an email or text message. We were herded onto a shuttle bus with 30 or so other inconvenienced fliers and then led into our room for the night. To say that this room was sub standard and flea ridden is most probably prejudiced towards fleas cause even these animals surely have some standards! The toilet was leaking with water flowing all over the floor, the toilet seat was filthy and stained, there were pins (YES, pins!) all over the floor, there was only one towel in the room, the sheets had not even been changed from whoever was the last unlucky person to have to stay in this hotel. The reception and housekeeping lines were engaged throughout the entire night (or off the hook more likely). We could say more but quite simply the photos tell the whole story! Human beings should not be treated like this by people who know what they are doing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I have stayed in the Amman airport hotel for 3 nights. Overall I was not dissatisfied, the hotel is comfortable, rooms was okay but a bit old.
The price is pretty high compared to other options in Amman but this one defintely has the benefit of its proximity close to the airport. Also the shuttle to the airport is for free.
The choices of restaurants however is below average. There is a buffet which I would recommend to avoid, and in the bar/cafe there is a limited number of options. I took pasta twice, and one of them literally drowned in the cream sauce. Half of it would have been more than enough.
Overall I think this is an average hotel, pay more attention to the food options and I would have ranked higher.
Well, we were dumped here by Pegasus Airline when "due to technical reasons" our flights were cancelled. Dirty carpets, water from shower spilling into the toilet and vanity area, drainage in the basin always blocks and poor english communication skills. Fire alarm went off late at night with no evacuation announcement..we found out people were smoking in the foyer. Appalling breakfast and only promotes cardiovascular disease and diabetes. No healthy food or fruits. I won't even pay 10JD per night for this dump.
Stayed here as I had a 12 hour layover. Transfer process from airport to hotel took 1.5 hours. After check-in, room was dirty, two of the three lights in the bathroom were not working, and the shower faucet was broken. Recommend paying the visa fee on a layover and finding a nice hotel in town.
