Stayed with a group of 45, on an organized umrah trip, so HAD NO CHOICE but to stay in the hotel. So many wrongs of this hotel, the airconned and carpeted section for females in Baitullah actually looked much more promising.

350M from the Al Haram is not bad but consider going back tired and hungry, then the uphill walk is becoming less and less bearable each time. The AC was so loud, you would be thinking you are sleeping next to a locomotive. The floor was so dirty, I had to use the towel as a mat for my praying mat on the occasion I had to pray in room. Clean freaks, do not look under the bed! I slept with my saroong on covering head to toe because the sheet and pillow cleanliness were questionable.

Guests in room MUST ALWAYS LOCK the door!!

On another note, if you are lucky, perhaps you will get a better room. The hotel has 2 towers so perhaps rooms in the other tower are better and actually look like the photo on their website.

The best thing about my room: located one floor above the lobby so I utilized the emergency staircase, sparred from the hassle of waiting for the lift!

The best thing about the location: ICE CREAM shop nearby is so very yummy and cheap!

Another thing: PLEASE be kind to your bellboy....

Room Tip: Stay away if you can....

Stayed here for 7 nights for Umra on Mac 2013.
Location is still ok for walking to Masjidilharam.

The room is super small.
Room is dirty.
Toilet is dirty.
The aircond is so so functioning.

The lobby smells bad too.

Twice the power/electric tripped (blackout).
Luckily stayed on first floor.

Room Tip: Get room on lower floor.

Just returned from my Umrah trip. Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Distance about 350m from Haram. Slight gradient uphill but it is manageable.

I did not experience anything similar like the two previous reviews. Of course, in Makkah you should not expect the same treatment like you have in your home country. There are too many rooms in this hotel which I noticed from its keys counter. Yes aircon is the window type so it is a bit noisy but I manage a good sleep. For its price, the room and service is just okay.

Room Tip: Ask for room with window.

This hotel may well have been 4* five years or so ago, butvi would struggle to rate it as a 3*
The service there was non-existent!
The rooms were falling apart, dirty and air/con must have been one of the first onea ever created, the noise was so loud it was difficult to sleep! There was dirty plates stacked on the stair ways for days and flies in rooms! No air con in halls, and same food provided everyday:(
