Jabal Nur is one of the most visited places after Umroh or Hajj. You can travel here by bus or taxi. I've traveled with six people using 7-seater taxi that cost me SAR 160 for the Ziarah including other six places. It would be memorable for Moslem to travel to this place. It's really recommend for Ziarah.

It is tough to climb even in these days with joggers. It will take almost 2.5 to 3 hours to reach Ghar-e-Hira. Take water and some snacks before going there otherwise nothing is available during hiking. Weather is also tough in Saudi Arabia. If you are not fully fit then don't try to climb it. The best time to go there is after Fajr prayer and try to return before Zahur. Not recommended for older people and people having knee problems.

Takes about an hour to climb. Lots of taxi ready to take you there at about 50 SAR. Many beggars and workers repairing the steps who will ask you for donations.

This is the place where the question of our beloved prophet SAW was answered. When we read about the place couldnt imagine what is actually is, once you see it you start wondering how can you climb up this hill so frequently to get your answers. You can imagine the conviction our prophet SAW had and also you can also appreciate the sacrifice of Khadija R.A who had to also climb up to provide food for our prophet SAW. Its a tough climb and dont dare if you are not physically fit, its a 2500 feet climb and you need proper preparation to climb up there.
