This isn't a 'need-to-visit' place, but if you wish to see the grand scale of Tehran then it is worth trying. We got up early and had to wait for the observation deck to open (it was closed due to strong winds). They only opened half the deck for us but it was enough to get an outside view. Not much to see around the tower - and the resturants nearby are pretty expensive.

If you want to have more clear picture about Tehran, and realize how big and white (gray) town is it, you have to visit this place. Not crowded with great panorama view. There is one floor with traditional arts workshops. Interesting and calm place in crowded Tehran.

There are only two positive things to say about this place: the highest point in Tehran, and the chance to see sample of late Qajar handwriting samples. The staff are very impolite and unprofessionsl and the services are poor and expensive.

It is a high cement tower in the hilly areas of Tehran providing a good view of the whole city with museums in different levels, a copy of China TV Tower. One time visit worth the effort.

Milad tower is Tehran's new symbol. It is a modern tower and has fair facilities. The elevators take you high in a flash and then you can see all of Tehran from the top! There are also some other attracting cultural places.
