It only takes about 30 minutes to go around but it is very interesting to see the artifacts and pictures from old Doha. The model for Msheireb is fun to see as well. A very good place to take visitors to Doha and then have a coffee in Costa beside it afterwards or go to the Sheraton Park.

If you want to have just a quick view about Doha/Qatar history in very short time, this is the place,
it is very short visit , 30 minutes would do , not huge space, however , it is excellent in presenting the history and you can have the taste of it
it is on the corniche , there is a caffee outside near the centre ;
as well there is a small boat outside if you would like to take a tour - please note that boat tour isn't within Musheireb Centre - it is private tour - in old heritage small boat - tour for 10-15 minutes
as well there is a nearby playarea for kids,
all these beacause Musheireb centre is located on the Cornish side
it is free entry

Displays the history of place in pictures and in models. Admission is free and worth a short visit. You'll see on the place turned from 60 years ago that was a backward village with mud houses.

This stationary barge serves as a 'marketing teaser' for Msheireb. Now that the Msheireb Museums are open to the public, I think it's rather redundant.

That said, it's great if you want a quick cultural fix while in Doha's business district and only have 30 minutes to spare. The displays are generally informative and well presented and the view on the gulf is a definite plus.
