I stayed in this hotel for business. I didn't have time to explore the facilities neither at the hotel or in the city as my days were packed with meetings.

The hotel is well located and very accessible. They have branded taxis that so you feel some sense of security using them.

The bed is ok!

Personally I don't like tiles in the room, I hate to step on cold floor first thing in the morning, so this for me is the only downside for the hotel.

I love the concept of the pool side restaurant in the evening. Better atmosphere than the other hotels around.

Though much cheaper than other hotels around but I still find it a bit pricy.

I will stay here next time I'm in Guyana and i won't hesitate to recommend the place.

Chosen at random and at short notice, turned out to be a good choice. Nice room, good buffet food at breakfast and lunch. Some rooms have a view of the beach and Atlantic. Interesting nightlife options when I was there. Traffic congestion not to be underestimated if you have a flight to catch - the one-horse trucks.can cause serious jams.

I have stayed at Pegasus 2 times and this review is long over due. The hotel staff - EXCEPTIONAL - vey pleasant, helpful and prompt. The food - very GOOD but EXPENSIVE, esp. the breakfast. Rooms are nice, big and comfortable. There's a lounge on the top floor thats fabulous (I attached a pic).

I stayed at the the Pegasus some years ago and was keen to see how good the recent refurbishment had gone.
At first glance all looked good, outside BBQ area near pool has had a facelift .
Staff are friendly , bar serves ice cold Banks beer/ , good bar snacks too.
It was busy even on a late Sunday evening, nice vibe and will visit again.

Wonderful swimming pool. An oasis in a tough city. Good staff and central location. Long drive from the airport though but that's Georgetown for you. Guyana is a country worth visiting despite what you might have heard.
