What to say.....everything is so nice and great about Residence E.O. The manager, Mr Lee is a great and charming person. The hotel is well secured with state-of-the-art high tech security system. The room is neat, cosy and equipped with facilities needed the most by travellers such as washing machine, Tea-point, lot of compartments, two-door fridge and microwave. The breakfast is simple yet good enough to avoid you from craving some foods in the morning!

The best part about this place is the location. It is situated in Myeondong, but hidden from the town craziness. 24-hours convenient store is just a step away from the hotel. Not to mention the subway station (Myeondong Line 4). All must-visit places in seoul are easily reached from this area. You can name it, from Namdemun market, Dongdemun to Myeondong market.

Trust me....this place is a like a treasure to Seoul. I will come back to Seoul one day...and definitely this is the place to stay...again.

I believed with more reviews on this place, this place is going to be madly popular. As such, I was quite relectant to review the place in hope to keep it a secret. Anyway, good things ought to be shared.

It's conveniently located in Myeong Dong area. It's minutes away from MyeongDong station and MyeongDong. Just walk through the underpass and you are in the popular shopping district. Yet, it's away from hussle and bustle of Myeong Dong as it is located at the quiter side. It's Walkable distance to Namsan Park and you could do a walk up Namsan Park.

Rooms are clean and sizable.
Security is tight as guests are given a small key card, with electronic access to the building. Rooms are secured by digital locks. A rather high tech guesthouse. Every room comes with a washing machine and a 2 door fridge. Rooms are equipped with aircon as well as floor heating to tide u through hot summers and cold winters.

Breakfast variety is mediocre but with all the variety of good food around the place, it doesn't matter.

The place does not have any elevators though, so be prepared to carry your luggage up. No worries though as the manager is a helpful chap and will certainly help with the luggages. Fighting!

For the price we paid, this place is certainly worth very cent of it!!

Residence EO is conveniently located in the Myeongdong area. You can walk to the subway station in just 3 minutes, while the Myeongdong shopping area is just a 5 minute walk. You can also get to Namdaemun Market in 15-20 mins by foot.

The hostel seems brand new with its clean rooms and adequate facilities (there's a tv, microwave, fridge, and washing machine in the room). They also offer a complimentary breakfast of toast and cereals. And if you get tired of that, there are bakeries, convenient stores, and food stalls in the area.

One of the best parts of our stay is Mr. Lee's hospitality. He never fails to greet the guests and ask for anything they need. He even helped us research for some places to go and arranged for our airport transportation.

All in all, Residence EO is highly recommended and I won't hesitate to stay there again.
