I stayed 2 nights but a late arrival on day one and a very early departure on day 3.

The hotel is enormous and the rooms are first class.

Everything is impeccably clean, bearing in mind where you are and the amounting airborne dust and sand.

Great location but due to time constraints I didn't get to explore much of the area, relying on a driver to take me where I was needed and eating in the hotel for convenience. (I'm almost ashamed to admit that because it's not something I have done for a long time).

Anyway, I thinking experienced about 10% of what this hotel has to offer.

I stayed six nights at the Hotel, when attending a conference. The Hotel is located just aside the Nile river, having an excellent location, oposite side of National Museum. It has excellent services, great food, clean rooms. The only reason why I do not rate as excellent the hotel is because in corridors out of conferences rooms, great sized ashtrays are placed, then, in disregard of Hotel policy, found on many places, requiring not to smoke. Smoke was constant, possibly local culture, but not a place where I would go with family, all in my family are allergic to cigarette smoke. The arab water filtering smoking, was not a problem. Great Hotel, but need to improve this. Have rated as "normal" the quality of the service, just for permitting smoking, otherwise, service is quite good. Hotel has many shops offering different services in ground floor, being a mini mall, very usefull, able to buy from hancrafts, quality sunglasses, egyptian garments of quality cotton .

Room Tip: Suggested to choose a room from 5th floor to higher. Cairo is in general a noisy city.

The staff are excellent. I would particularly like to mention Khaled in the Business centre who could not have been more helpful and Mohamed Salah in the Italian restaurant.

The hotel is built around a palace blending old and new is a very skilful way.

This hotel was great - loved the views, great location. The dining / entertainment areas are lovely. Lots to choose from for entertainment. The rooms are spotless and views from every window. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
