Worst hotel I’ve stayed at on vacation.
The owner has to do a better job with letting people not scam you. Whether his shop owner friends or anyone else. He should recommend good places where you don’t get taken advantage of. He is a good man or comes from a good place however he needs to exemplify it more and not let all your money go to waste. He speaks well and out of kindness however he has to help us newcomers more.
I ended up buying gifts in the airport for 1/5th of the price I spent going to the stores of the owners recommendation.
The only good thing is the real hotel staff are nice and courteous and Mahmood did help me a lot. The owner should find ways on how to treat tourists on what to expect and how to combat it, and for people who are excited to visit his country he should show them the way.
Also, the breakfast is bad, there is nothing to choose from but that’s your choice if you want to eat there.
Thank you for good staff at your restaurant and the papyrus gift, but I won’t come back.
The only good thing about this hotel was the view of the pyramids FROM THE ROOF, no where else. As well as their shisha.
Their driver did not pick me up from the airport because of lack of their communication. That is a hassle, and you have to tip or you’re evil.
Also the bathroom was old, they leave you 1 packet of soap, no room service, my vent from the air conditioner fell down, and it smells like feces outside because of camels and horses.
Do yourself a favor, order Uber, it is the true price and cost and same level of service or better.
MAHMOOD WAS A GREAT TOUR GUIDE. FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE VERY END HE HELPED ME THE MOST. MY REVIEW ON THE HOTEL AND OWNER MIGHT BE NEGATIVE HOWEVER IF IT WAS NOT FOR SOMEONE LIKE MAHMOOD THEN I WOULD HAVE BEEN LOST. HE TOOK ME TO HIS SHISHA, HIS TEA SPOT, HIS BARBER, EVERYWHERE HE ENJOYED. EVERY HOTEL NEEDS SOMEONE LIKE THIS. HE TREATS A TOURIST HOW THEY SHOULD BE TREATED. IF IT WASNT FOR MAHMOOD OR HIS COUSIN ACHMED I WOULD HAVE HAD AN EVEN WORSE TIME BUT THEY MADE SURE I ENJOYED MY STAY, NO ONE ELSE.
