i have book the hotel from 9 till 18 November 2022, even though i have booked premium room with specific view, i was offered a different room with different view and they told me that they give what is available. the hotel is noisy and has just one elevator that serve my floor that i was in. AC is not working properly and the bed sheets was not clean. i had a guest visitor and they hotel staff was very rude and not professional.

Pyramisa, is an old hotel building but it was well kept. Carpet in the hall way may have been a little dated, but the Hotel and rooms were clean and nice. All the staff I met was very nice and accommodating. We did not like the half board(meal) requirement. But the meals were good, when we found ourselves around at meal time. Which was mostly breakfast and some time a late dinner. We did not visit Egypt to spend a lot of time in the hotel, Rate Hotel building B minus, Staff A minus, Food gets an A. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to my friends..

The hotel is old and worn down. It's in a good location, many hotels are within a mile or so radius at the city centre and so is Pyramisa.
Wifi signal was good in public areas, poor in our suite and had to ask for new login details every day as the wifi pass expired after 24hrs. Breakfast was lovely, great selection including a chef's station where they make omlettes to your specifications.

Be mindful of the ever present scams and rip offs, especially in terms of travelling to and from the airport and getting around town. After landing at Cairo International we thought ourselves clever for haggling the price of a car down to 300EGP (€15) and considered it cheap for a 45min ride while the hotel transport would have been 500EGP.
On our way back, we just flagged down a taxi and asked for the meter to be turned on and was shocked to pay 85EGP (approx €4) for the same trip.
Save yourself the haggling and stress, head straight to taxi and pay what the meter shows.
