Our tour group was booked in here for 4 nights. Not sure why as we were miles from anything and over an hour from Beijing. Nice room, huge bed. A large inbuilt slate spa bath in the room. Not sure of the cleanliness of said bath. Grounds well maintained. No staff spoke English. When travelling language issues do arise. In this case staff had no English. A bit unfortunate considering the number of English speaking guests they had staying here. Breakfast was plentiful but not great. No one would go hungry but again don't expect any service.

One of the hotels we stayed in on the SNA tours. Beautiful hotel in the middle of nowhere. Rooms are big with a extra large bath tub .
List of issues with this hotel
1 there is NOTHING around the hotel
2 no one working in hotel speaks or understands English
3 limited things or places to eat
4 breakfast is not served in hotel but you need to walk for nearly 5-8 min to get to the conference centre where breakfast is served . When you there food is cold or not very fresh.
5 you need to travel for over an hour to get to tours or back from tours which is wasted time .
Would not recommend this hotel but if you booking through SNA you have no choice in hotels.

Beautiful clean resort in the middle of nowhere. Rooms were very spacious and clean and the private mineral water bath on the veranda was just amazing. Breakfast was great at the buffet in the mornings.

As far as the complex is concerned, the grounds, trees and flowers are magnificent, the black swans on the lake are so majestic just swimming round and not afraid of the sightseers, and the lonesome white duck stood out against the black swans

Great outdoor spa and child amusement facilities make for a true family stay

The rooms are clean and tidy equipped with a so called spa, except there are no bubbles so it is not a real spa, just a hot tub

The reception is manned by non English speaking staff. It took 3 calls for someone to come to our room to show us how to work the TV, then another 3 visits over 2 days to finally how to work the Chinese marked remote

The coffee and tea making facilities are sad, taking 2 visits for some English breakfast tea, coffee then another for the sugar

Catering for English speaking tourists seems to be considered of no importance

The breakfasts were ok. Although, tea and coffee was sad

The complex is situated in the never never and we were unable to find any public transport

Room Tip: The complex itself is great. They just don't cater for English speaking guests

For some reason our tour group was booked in here. It is a very nice resort if you are on a honeymoon or a business convention. But it is a long way out of Beijing and there is nothing around the hotel, no shops, public transport, nothing... Breakfast buffet was not great. The coffee would have to have been the worst in the world. the rooms were good though, each one having a big bath which fills with very hot mineral water.
