Stayed in September for 3 nights. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable. Great having a kitchen as we got groceries from a Walmart 10 minute walk away. There is an excellent Italian restaurant - Annie's - in the same street. Breakfast was very good, lots of western options. Only problem was it opened at 7am and on our last day we had to leave at 6.45am, so no option to have a croissant on the way out.

There is room for improvement though - there is no signage that the building is the Ascott. Difficult to find with non English speaking taxi. (appears the building next door which used to be the Ascott as well are now private apartments - Inner Peace - and this is on the front entrance). Confusing if the men out the front work for Inner Peace or Ascott. Their English is non-existent so not much help with taxi's. There is no pool at the apartments, even though there are Photo's on Tripadvisor. Believe it may be in the other building which is now Inner Peace. I can see on their website, it now says you can use the pool for a 'charge'.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids-15y,10y) stayed at Ascott in Dec 2017. We had problem to locate the hotel when checkin. The building of Ascott Beijing is actually Inner Peace 108. It is a very posh building about 10min walk from Guomao subway station. This makes us easy to move around Beijing without tour guide. Our room is an Executive 2 bedrooms located at level 19. It has 1 king size bed and 1 double bed, 2 toilets, a fully functional kitchen, washer and dryer (they provide laundry detergent). The room has hot water and room heating. We asked for rice cooker which was provided to us with a rental fee. The room cleaning service is good. Free breakfast is only for 2 person. We only went for breakfast on our first day of our stay by combining another 2 breakfast from the next day of stay. The breakfast buffet is not much so we cooked our own breakfast for the rest of the stay. There is a cheap but small convinience store, Costa and a tea shop, also a few restaurants nearby but we didn't eat at the restaurants there since it is not halal. We like this place. It is not crowded. Wifi is also acceptable. Note: bread is not cheap in Beijing, cereal is rare.

I Stay in this hotel. The location is in a prime location. Price Quite Ok if you compare by room size but The Services is so poor. I ask for bottle Water and the reception says. Room Service off duty today. so if you want Water Go Get Here By Yourself. This is so Impolite and this is like most of the Local Chinese Attitude with some rude and Mindless act.
i will prefer Jen Hotel or others for better service. Surely i won't come back. This is services business not a monkey business

Excellent location.....just next to the subway Guomao. We stayed in a 2 bedroom Premiere....very spacious with full kitchen facilities, washer & dryer. Bathrooms were huge. Housekeeping staffs were very cordial. Worth the money.
Highly recommended.

Long-term guests: Moisture in the walls caused mold and mushrooms. Management could only ask us how we wanted to solve it, and then after researching tried to lecture us on the lifecycle of mushrooms. No solutions.
