Good rooms & nice ambience. Very firm beds. Good for those who don't like soft mattresses. The communication is a problem as most of them don't know English. Tasty & sumptuous breakfast. A very friendly staff but for the language.

We were lucky to get a clean room with fresh air on the 10th floor. A very big room and and make me feels the hotel is newly open for business. The room got all our basic needs for a night stay, they provide 2 pairs of "non-slip" slippers, my first encounter in our travel. We are infrequent travellers. The aircon works well but we prefer the fresh air outside and open the window, just a gap is sufficient for fresh air. We were lucky to get fresh air in Beijing on April 20, 2017!!!
We were early for breakfast and were please to be allowed to sit at the restaurant looking at them dutifully present the duly cooked food. Most hotels do not allow us and cause a rush/crowd when they open the restaurant. I find the breakfast spread sufficient.
Further down the road, walking distance away, there is a big shopping mall, Wanda good for shopping local goods.

Room Tip: Higher floor quieter from vehicles noises.

This was our first hotel as part of a tour. A little far out- on the 3rd ring but wasn't really a problem as we were bussed everywhere. Close to the subway and a short walk to a mall for restaurants & shopping.
The rooms were nice and clean and the buffet breakfast was good. Staff ok, limited English.

Beautiful Hotel, very grand. As we were on a guided tour with SNA & Travel Asia, this was the first of our accommodation. The room was nice, tripped on the carpet a few times as it hadn't been laid properly. If you like a pretty firm bed, this is the hotel for you. The food was nice, our breakfast was included. Dinner was a little expensive, approx. $60AUD for a buffet, not anything close by to eat at.
There is a shopping mall approx. 10 minute walk from the hotel, it has a supermarket where you can buy bread, cheese, fruit, alcohol etc.
Communication was really bad. we stayed here for 5 nights and on at least 4 occasions our room card wouldn't work in the lift or our room, was extremely hard to convey our problem to the front desk staff. Its still new, so hopefully things will improve.

Usually I love to stay somewhere that feels local and traditional. When I am in holiday even more so. For those who don't travel regularly to China it's important to realise the difference between a hotel aimed at international business travellers and those aimed at and most attractive to Chinese business travellers. This is the latter I am informed by Chinese colleagues.

We found the hotel to feel unclean and all three of our bedrooms smelt far from fresh. In fact two of them we asked to change because the smell of stale smoke was so unpleasant.

The food was okay but not what I would expect. And when there was an issue I couldn't find anyone who had good enough English to help. I wouldn't recommend this to international visitors. There are much nicer options nearby.
