My first ever visit to Paul's Kitchen! I read about this restaurant online and decided that I wanted to give it a go and I'm glad I did!!

Paul was very prompt and patient with all the questions that I had!

Upon arriving at his restaurant, we were introduced the menu and we asked for the recommendations. We were not disappointed with the recommendations.
I would so recommend to pair it with the wine buffet !

Must try:-
Baby chicken
Beef cheeks
Apple crumble

His personal touch and passion could be felt from his food. I am pretty sure I will be back for more!

Thank you Paul, once again for your hospitality.

Susan - Singapore

Been there a few times. They serve 3 or 4 course table d'hote menu. They call it English but I find it pan-European (bits of everything). The starters are alright, I have tried the foie gras duo (which was so-so), scrambled eggs with truffle (nice) and the sautee snails (which was good!)... for main course I always have their spring chicken - the best ever I have tried! Nice crispy skins and tender meat with nice flavours! Don't forget to pair with their wine buffet - all you can drink a selection of mid ranged wine for less than HK$300. Besides the food, the service manager is also nice and helpful. Fast yet attentive service.

This is possibly the best place I have EVER eaten!!! We went with no booking and got a fabulous table by the window. The staff were delightful and very attentive but never intrusive. The food was unbelievable...I have never eaten and been so happy at the same time. We both had the 4 course menu and wine. The prices were so good and the wine was lovely. Paul's Mac & Cheese was the most delicious mac n cheese I have ever tasted, this is one of my favourite dishes so its not mean feat to become my favourite. The chef is in the kitchen through a glass wall so you can see everything be cooked. PLEASE GO YOU WONT REGRET IT!

The food at Paul's Kitchen is ok but not memorable. service staff were great. Due to where they are located, we noticed 2 small bugs crawling on the table. The waiter removed one, we ignored the other.

Wine there is good and reasonably priced though

Just had a 4 course dinner at Paul's Kitchen. Food was prepared freshly and in a absolutely right manner - very tasty, pretty natural with a french touch.

You can see the chef in the kitchen preparing the food. The restaurant just has a few tables (it seats about 20 to 30 persons). The atmosphere is classy but - due to the bluish light - lacks a bit the romantic touch. The staff is absolutely friendly and attentative. They speek excellent English and the menue is explained to you by the friendly waiter in a very detailed way. This restaurant just serves 3 or 4 course menues at - I would consider - medium price. For each course you can chose among 3 to 5 dishes. The wine list is not fancy but OK.

We started with "escargots" which tasted and were prepared as they should be, afterwards we had scallops perfectly prepared, the signature special roasted chicken and the duck confit were also just great. We ended our nice and relaxed dinner with the signature bread and butter pudding (which was the first time I really enjoyed this desert).

If you are looking for good western food on HK Island (SOHO) just go to Gough St and checkout Paul's Kitchen.
