The place was upscale with good ambience. The food was really good, with some of them quite unique. Service was very good and attentive. Prices were higher than most restaurants.

I’d dinner with a friend and we took the set menu.

All the dishes were delicious/very delicious with the following as highlights:
- deep fried lobster claw stuffed with minced shrimp in spicy salt and pepper
- double boiled superior soup with fish maw, sea whelk and bamboo piths
- fried rice with assorted mushrooms, preserved vegetables and rice crisps.

The seatings were comfortable and there’s ample space between tables.

The service was the weakest link of our meal. The staff weren’t rude at all. However, they weren’t particularly attentive either. They rarely poured us tea on their own initiative. And they just put down the dishes without introducing the same.

We had high expectations for this but unfortunately, I think it's overrated. It's a nice space and yes, the food is very traditional but we didn't really enjoy our dishes with the exception of one of the starters. Service is so so and overall, I think it's too expensive for what it is

This is an upscale option for refined Cantonese cuisine in Wanchai. Offering an obstructed view of Victoria Harbour, Ming Court is a pleasant place to sample the best of Hong Kong. Food is solid and full of surprises. Many dishes are hard to fine elsewhere. Service is warm and courteous. Price is on the upper end as expected but the meal is well worth it.

You are not going to Ming's to watch your wallet, and you are going to enjoy the food, the ambience, and the attentive service. We ordered a dozen dishes, and all were great. Try the whole roasted duck, have the skin and meat slices first, then let them fry the bones and meat and make a second dish. The egg white "layers" with shrimp is simply devine. The nuts, fried lotus roots, and palmetto and tamotoes starters are exceptional. Surely order the fried cheezy crab as well. All in all, a great evening that you'll remember. Cantonese cuisine at its best.
