The room was nice, okay and clean. Garden view is cheaper than any hotels in nearby Central. need around 5-10 minutes by taxi to go to Central. Nearby hotel is mostly residence and apartment. A bit difficult to go to the hotel, and you should using Taxi. sometimes taxi doesn't know where it is, so you need to write down the name of the hotel and address in Cantonese or Mandarin.

Booked a deluxe suite (for cheaper than most standard rooms elsewhere in HK) and not disappointed. 19th Floor, overlooking the city, gave us a splendid panorama of Hong Kong 24 hours a day. Taxis/buses stop right outside the lobby, and transport to central/ferries is only 5 or 6 minutes away. We also booked a single room for our nipper (who should by now, be paying her own way, but won't for some reason)...although the cost of that was negligible. Took a few days to figure out the routines/local shops etc. but once I had that under control, I could easily get hold of some decent NZ wine downstairs (and about 20m behind the hotel) for about $A10 per bottle. Bonus. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and we always received helpful and quick/courteous responses to our enquiries. Highly recommend this hotel for the location, cost and service levels. If you're quick, you might even be able to share in the huge jar of vegemite we donated to the restaurant at the end of our stay.

Room tip: City side/High floors for the best views, naturally.

The room was okay with a nice view of garden and city (Superior room). A bit difficult to get to/from the hotel. Overall, it's a decent place to stay if you get the promo price online (shouldn't be more than $90 - $110).

I booked for very low price, and was surprised about the hotel.
It was Good, clean and friendly staff. There's bus nearby to the downtown so easily to move.
It's highly recommend for travel...
The restaurant, which is not hotel property, is poor and expensive. Don't try it

Stayed for 9 nights and it was just perfect. there is a fairly big supermarket in the same building ("fusions") open till 10pm where you'll find pretty much everything you need foodwise. My room was 708 which provided a very spectacular view of Hong Kong's skyline. The only thing I didn't like much was their breakfast buffet (wasn't included but we went once) it wasn't worth the HK$ 130. Other than that super quiet hotel, friendly staff, I would highly recommend Garden View and stay there again once back in the city.

Room tip: 708 has a great view (two single beds), have a look at my pic taken from bed
