This hotel has newer, cleaner and bigger rooms than the ones in its price category. It is a 10min walk from the Macao ferry terminal, and the Sheung Wan MTR. Friendly staff, starbucks at ground floor. But it all stops there.
1. Sheung Wan has no life after dark, it is a biz district full of dried seafood shops. The real life is in Central, HK or the glitzy Kowloon area. Get a life there.
2. There is no mall nearby, no bars nearby. Uninteresting local food shops.
3. Great for business travellers, who work and rest with no life after work.
4. Not for fun tourist who wants to pop in and out of HK's street life.
I will stay back at YauMatei (Kimberley Hotel) where service is slower, rooms older, and smaller. But life is just outside the hotel door..More
