Great Hidden gem very close to Man Mo temple.
Perfect for a dinner date, they have a good dimsum selection, with western flavour. Service is very friendly as well.
Careful the place is not as easy too find, between 2 antique shops.

Man Mo is situated in Upper Lascar Row, which is just off Hollywood Road, in Sheung Wan. Sheung Wan MTR is not far away.

I dined here early one evening and opted for a selection of Dim Sum dishes, namely Truffle Brie, Peking Duck and Sea Bass plus Bouillabaisse.

I enjoyed the duck and Bouillabaisse, but the Truffle Brie and Sea Bass did not quite work for me.

I had Hong Kong Egg Lemon Tart for dessert which was good but quite small.

The cost including two small beers was just under HK $500 including service. Whilst it was enjoyable on the whole, it's probably better to eat here for lunch or for a snack as I was still fairly hungry after dining here.

Sometimes I find fusion restaurants that are trying too hard to be creative. But when it works it is special. And Man Mo works. Several creative combinations for a variety of tastes - hard to pick a winner (ok, it was the duck). Service was good. Nice wine list. Highly recommend.

Decided to try this fusion restaurant and I really enjoyed the food here.

I had the duck fried rice, foie gras xiao long bao, ratatouille dumplings, boullaboise fish wanton and the truffle brie dumplings.

Other than the truffle brie dumplings, all of it were complex in taste and absolutely delicious.

I was blown away by the duck fried rice and foie gras xiao long bao. I felt I was in heaven.

You should come here to try the food, you won't regret it.

this is a nice laid back cafe serving some unusual dim sum. Very tasty dishes. Raw tuna was delicious. What I love about dim sum is the explosion of broth when you bite through and this was missing here, so some dishes were more like ravioli - but still very good.
