Visited this place based on my daughter's friend's recommendation. Did not disappoint at all! We ordered beef tendon and wonton noodle soup and wonton and pork dumpling noodle soup. Both are fantastic! The soup is very tasty, and the wontons are wonderful. The service is also very friendly. The "manager" even offered to take photo for us, and gave a little kid a high five.

Had the wonton soup and the beef brisket with noodles. The noodles had a great consistency with a little chew. The brisket was tender and went well with the noodles.

Mak's Noodle, way back in the day, was a classic representation of traditional Cantonese wonton noodles. Unfortunately, over the years, the quality has gone way down. The broth no longer has the intense flavor, noodles lack the traditional bounciness and the wontons are executed with a lack of care. There are other offerings in HK, like Mak Siu Kee, that far exceeds this one. Not worth the exorbitant price of a bowl of wontons, even taking the expensive real estate into consideration.

After waiting for roughly 10 minutes in line with other eager visitors, we were sat at a 4 person booth with 2 strangers and thus we were off on this noodle house adventure where they pack the people in, sling out delicious bowls of food and offer friendly service along the way. We ordered their popular shrimp dumpling soup and beef brisket with dumpling soup. Both were delicious and savory. The portions are pretty small, but the price matches that very well. The atmosphere is lively and fun and you get free tea with refills with your meal. I would gladly return.
