The room is nice and simple with two tone colot. Recommended for business trip, they have free wifi at the lobby and cable internet in the room. The amenities is very cool. Last, they have a very unique see trough bathroom.

We stayed in this hotel a night just to break our usual weekend routine. The hotel and interior was nice, modern and in excellent condition. Location was great, walking distance to the city centre with lots of foodies and mid level bar. Breakfast has a good spread of selection. What was lacking was the pool, it mentioned a pool but it was tiny. Service n parking was great.

We stayed at the Akmani for two nights at the Grand Suite, which we absolutely love. Huge room, has separate living room/pantry.Two TVs, at living room and bedroom. Dining table for you to work/eat. Staff were great, it took awhile for us to check-in but the staff was very courteous and immediately offered an alternate wait at the coffee-shop where we were served the welcome drink.

If you don't want to eat in, there are heaps of choice to get food from, both at the Wahid Hasyim and surrounding area. Hotel close to Sarinah, train station, Hotel Indonesia roundabout is just around 20-30 mins taxi ride (depends on traffic). We didn't particularly like the dark color scheme of the hotel, the bedroom can be quite dark due to the color scheme, but if you are looking for a great rest, you'll get it. Low noise level, walls are thick enough. Breakfast were good, lots of variety, Taxi and bajaj are easy to find, even in rush hour. Would we return? Sure thing :)

What to like:
1. Location
2. Service
3. Breakfast
4. Comfy matress

Dislike:
1. Grim color-scheme
2. The pantry has no use, just a bunch of empty cabinets :(

Room Tip: The grand suite is awesome

Stayed 3 night on business. After arrival wanted just one night but AGODA does not allow changes. Good news the room was clean. Food was terrible especially the breakfast. Floor was being renovated at the time and during the breakfast hours which I could not understand. The "fitness" center is a small room and dirty with old equipment. Location is not within walking distance to Plaza Indonesia and if not outside traffic hours feels like I was trapped.

A great hotel where everybody shared their smiles with you. It is rare to find such personalized services coupled with a great hotel rate (IDR 750k a nite) and a cozy room. Breakfast was included and it is delicious even though for the 4 nites that i stayed, it is the same food rotation but the quality is there. Services is prompt and location of the hotel is central as long as you are going to the business and financial district and Grand Indonesia which is a great place to hangout with abundances of coffee place. Grand Indonesia is a mere 20 min walking distant from the hotel or you can pick up any taxi which is awaiting at the front of the hotel (but please use Bluebird or Silverbird for your own safety and trustworthy drivers). The in-room massage is superb that I was asleep like a baby afterwards. The LCD tv is fulls of channel (HBO, CNN, Fashion TV, you name it...) and the bathroom amenities is complete. Best part of it, the location of the hotel is right smack in the Jl Sabang where there is tonnes of food to be enjoyed. There;s a japanese restaurant nearby, Saung Grenville at the side of the hotel which serves great seafood, Garuda Padang restaurant which serve fresh mixed rice 24 hours a day! and satays stall fronting the hotel (sate jaya agun..superb and dirt cheap). Jl Jaksa is a haven to meet up other foreigners and backpackers where there's a cheap dirt beers to party around. What else can I say, do stay here and be harmony with the surroundings.

Room Tip: Choose higher floors.
