Like me this will probably be the closest you ever get to competing in the Olympics. Do your country proud and do the 15 shot challenge. The only tip I can offer you is to complete it in 5 shot increments and do them fast. Don’t let the pain marinate. Do 5 shots, take some water, do 5 more, take some water, and get it done. The shots are 100% disgusting but it’s all worth it to get your country a point and get your name forever hung up on a metal tag in Cocomungas. Also do this early on in your stay as you’re probably going to feel like death the next day. Good luck and god speed.

1. The place is ill maintained. The tables are dirty, the lamps covered with dusts, and the male bathroom dirty, smelly and disgusting.

2. There are a lot working girls, but they are not aggressive. This is very different from real girly bars in other parts of Southeastern Asia.

3. In the Happy Hours from 7.30 to 9.30, cocktail jars and San Miguel beers are 2FOR1. The Apple flavored San Miguel beer is really tasty, but the calories are the highest. Sam Miguel light and Lemon have the lowest calories so if you want to get drunk and at the same time watch your weight, you may want to stick to those.

4. There is literally no one in the first hour of the Happy Hours. The earliest to arrive are working girls who want to take advantage of 2FOR1. They usually come at 8.30.

5. The bar is extremely crowded on the weekend. In fact your seat might be stolen when you are off for toilet. That is exactly what happened to me. In fact the bartender told the guys that they could take my seat. I was extremely pissed off since I had just ordered some French fries and was waiting for them to be served.

This is one of boracay's more popular bar. Some nights its booming (many girls) but some nights are off (early hours of sunday). But one thing is for sure, this place is alive all night til morning. Good music. Happy hour deal of buy1 take1 cocktails and mocktails is amazing. Its a pay as you order type of bar so you can control your expenses better but you have to pick your wallet each time. They also have a shooters challenge. By the looks of those 15shots, oh man, i can already feel my liver screaming from fear. Hehe. Anyway, good place in station1. Near andoks, jonahs shake and trinity parish church.

You'll meet locals and tourists alike in cocomangas and leave with many new friends! it's ambiance is great with that real 'islandy' feel to it. The dance floor is multi-leveled and spacious, the beverage menu is vast and the price is very reasonable! I love cocomangas and I visit this club on a yearly basis!

This was one of the oldest bars in Boracay and is recommended by everyone. But honestly speaking, this was one of the worst bars we visited during our stay. It is more of a hooker joint and nothing else.
