Nothing much to shout about this place. A normal museum with some artifacts and history of Singapore Maritime. If you want to experience the Typhoon test, you need to pay extra SGD3 per person to get in. It is just a short movie with multi-sensory simulation enhanced with special effects so don't expect much from it. This museum needs signage as it is big but could make you go round and round the same place.
One of the cheapest attraction at Resort World Sentosa. It is a great attraction if you want to know a little more on the history of Singapore, how a tiny island becoming a trading harbor. It may be a bit boring for children. The Typhoon boat ride is really boring even for my 5 year old. His comments is that it is just a windy ride with no special effects.
A great museum, which was very educational for the children. Extremely well maintained. Got some good photos here.
I have been to MEM several times. It seemed that the exhibits were different this time round. I am not sure when it was changed. It was interesting for my kids to see the money evolution. Small exhibits (not real) but enjoyable for young children. A short trip which can be finished within an hour.
This is place is not so great for youngsters who need a lot of action. But okay for elderly people. This can be skipped if there is a time constraint
This is a neat place, although not too many visitors come to it. No crowds, wonderful history and replicas of artifacts make for an interesting visit esp if you are a history buff. The Typhoon Theatre attraction is a decent add-on for just $3, it's a cool 4D experience.
