I was expecting a bit better service considering there were about four people working in the place and four tables including two solos sitting at the bar. I found my food to lack taste compared to the normal Singapore standards, or even to Japanese food. One to avoid moving forward. On the plus side, the view of Robertson's Quay across the way, as well as the constant river tour boats detracted from the sour taste in one's mouth.

I walk around Clarke Quay area to find the nice restaurant for dinner. Until i walked to the end of the road opposite side to Central Mall then i found TOMO IZAKAYA and immediately decided to get in the restaurant and find the seat. I like this restaurant as their quality of food, excellent services, reasonable prices. I recommend this restaurant if you want high quality of Japanese food, you should try this one.

I can’t imagine visiting when it is full. There were only 5 tables with people. Service was the worst I have had in Singapore. One item I ordered never came. And what did come, was mediocre at best. You can find better service and better food for half the price.

Dropped in for early dinner. Nice selection of share food, like Japanese tapas. A bit pricey, but the so is everything on Clarke Quay. Happy to return.

Decided on a business dinner at Tomo. Service was awful from beg to end unfortunately! They forgot to bring our drinks. My dinner was the simplest meal and yet it didn't turn up until everyone else had finished theirs and I questioned its arrival (I think they forgot!). The staff yelled in their own language to each other. It was clear they were struggling with communication in terms of dealing with customer needs. Not that there were many customers there to start with. Being in such a densely populated area of restaurants and eateries I was surprised that they didn't put any effort into their service.
