We had the same experience as some one below. In the first two days we killed around 20 cockroaches in our room ranging from baby ones to large ones. The cleaner knew this was a problem and actually gave us some spray when he saw us in the corridor with the mini table they seemed to be coming from. The next days we killed a few more, bringing our total to approximately 30. On the walls, on the floor, on the bed, in the bathroom, where ever...they were there.

We were given a corner room which was considerably smaller than the other rooms so if you are still going here, ask to not be in the corner! It also meant the bathroom was very small, showering on top of the toilet. We would not return here.

friendly staff but unfortunately I have to agree with the "negative"reviews: bugs still there, smelly room. I got a room on the third floor, not too noisy. No stairs but it's fine with me I think this is due to the old building. Location is good though.

Mt third visit and I was not happy with the cleanliness and the service they offered me. From the front desk to the room was not a very present experience. The bathroom was not clean and the walls were mouldy.

The hotel is somewhat good. It's nice that my partner and I booked here and did not believe other reviews. The hotel is clean and so our room. We were given complimentary coffee everyday. Towels and toothbrush are provided but there's no shampoo and soap so we still bought it in the nearest Cheers store. It's 10-15 minutes walk to Bugis MRT and hawkers around. Rated this as 4/5 since shampoo and soap are not provided and you still need to ask the person at the lobby if you need a room service.

I attended a 3-day conference in Suntec and stayed in this hotel. I was a little shocked at how small the room was, taking into consideration that it's a deluxe room for two people. Yes, the bed was big, and there was enough space for two tall men. But the room itself was really small. There was only about two feet of space to walk around the foot of the bed and on one side of the bed. The toilet was clean, like everywhere else in Singapore, but it was also very small. There is no way I could shower without getting the sink and the toilet bowl all wet at the same time. Here's a rundown:

Advantages:
Walking distance to Bugis Street Market, Mustafa 24h Mall, Sim Lim Tower and Sim Lim Center
Short walk to Bugis MRT station (green line - runs from City Hall to Changi Airport)
Bus stop just across the hotel
Strong WiFi
Strong A/C
Food hawkers downstairs for cheap meals, convenience store nearby
Comes with 2 complimentary bottles of water every day
They will change sheets and towels only after your permission (they will remind you everyday)
Staff are polite, English-speaking, and will do their best to please

Disadvantage:
Although it's relatively cheap, there are cheaper comparable hotels
Very small room
Taxi drivers don't know the place, but Sim Lim Tower (not square) is your landmark (which is across the street)
You can hear the noises out on the street by day, and at the lobby at any time
No elevator (so better take the 2nd floor rooms)

Singapore is an expensive place, so if you're only after a bed to sleep, this will do. The staff are helpful, there's strong WiFi and A/C, and the best part is the location.
