Our travel agent put us in this property for two nights upon arriving in Quito. It is a charming, well appointed hotel. The restaurant was very good and very convenient, and the staff was very efficient and polite. One wonderful "nook" was up a spiral staircase from the second floor that lead to a quiet living room area with a terrific view of the "Virgin of Quito" on top of El Panecillo. We had wine and cheese up there on our second evening. Delightful.
If I had one "issue", it would be the thin walls between rooms. The hotel advertises sound proof windows, but the noise source from the rooms on either side of us was louder than I would have expected.
Regardless, we would stay there again when in Quito as the property is full of old world charm.More
