“Interesting area of old Cusco - narrow steep streets”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 March 2012

This is an interesting place to just walk up and down the streets. Some are very steep. Lots of small stores selling art and other crafts. Also lots of restaurants. Also the location of the 12 sided stone which is interesting if you like the Inca architecture.

“Don't mind the climb”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 March 2012

It's a bit of a puff getting up the hills and staircases that link San Blas together but well worth it to enjoy a traditional and unspoilt Cusco neighbourhood. I wonder how they move furniture in and out of so many house that don´t have road access. There are great eateries and Korma Sutra Indian restaurant is a gem!

“Cool trendy area with better products for sale than the plaza”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 March 2012

This area is great for grabbing a bargin and some beautiful clothing, you have to hunt it out though. Only problem is that it is at the top of a hill. Ensure you are acclimatised before venturing out this far, even small hills can take the wind out of you sail at this alititude if youre not used to it.

“Trendy Cusco”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 March 2012

I've never stayed in San Blas during my visits to Cusco, but I've walked the streets and just love this area. It's the trendy area of Cusco, offering higher end products to adventurer and tourists. Its very quaint and quiet.
