After a gruelling trek on the Inca trail we wanted a nice hotel for our last night in Peru, before flying back to the UK.
On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a superior room on the 11th floor with a view of the ocean. We also had a nice fruit bowl delivered to our room shortly after.
Unfortunately, what they failed to tell us was that there was a private function that evening in the rooftop bar/restaurant on the 12th floor. The ceiling was about an inch thick and we could hear music, talking and chairs and tables being moved around.
When we went out to dinner we asked how late the party would be and were told around 10.00 or 11.00. We figured this would be OK as we would probably be back around then.
By 11.30 the noise was still going on and we were unable to sleep. I phoned down to reception and was told hotel full, no rooms. My wife went down to reception and was told they might be able to find a room but it would be about an hour.
By now it was almost midnight and we were tired! we got a call saying if we packed up immediately they could move us. Miraculously, a room had appeared ready to move into.
We had no apology.
Thereafter the stay was OK. Breakfast was lovely. Good choice and fresh food.
Overall, it's a good hotel in a good location but we felt disappointed with the service.

Room Tip: Any room below 11th floor so you don't get the noise from the rooftop bar. Road noise is common...

Great, clean and modern hotel in the heart of mira flores. Hotel had great rooms, quiet corridors. However, did face a bit of road traffic noise in the room as we opted for a room facing the beach. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice, wifi was great as well. Its in good walking distance to the beach and local sites. Bar areas were great. Couldnt fault this hotel.

Dear guest,

Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to write about your experience. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed facilities. Unfortunately the noise is unpredictable because we are in front of a main avenue. We can consider another floor for your next stay.
We look forward to your next stay.

Radisson is a convenient location for visiting Lima. It is central and located in Miraflores, a safe and clean place. The check-in was smooth and a s we had arrived early, the reception staff kindly allowed us the use of the gym to change, freshen up and leave our luggage. Breakfast was excellent with plentiful choices, including egg of your choice. I would definitely recommend Radisson Lima for a comfortable and reasonably priced stay in Lima, Peru.

We were here for 2 nights and it was a wonderful stay! The location was great... walking distance to Larcomar shopping center and many parks. For the most part quiet area of town. The elevators are small. The beds are hard. The breakfast options were amazing! The doormen were incredible! The rooms were nice. You could see the ocean from our room. I did have a problem when we were checking in. I couldn't reserve a room for 3 people online and so reserved it for 2, knowing 3 would stay in it. I had to pay additional $25 per person and they told me I would probably have to change rooms because the room wouldn't accommodate 3 early 20 year olds with its 2 double beds. For the record... they did just fine! Not exactly the conversation you want to have when you arrive at a hotel at 1:30am after traveling 12 hours to get there. Other than that... the stay was great!

Room Tip: Rooms on the north side have views of the ocean... somewhat.

We stayed here 4 nights. My first impression was Wow, this is nicer than Radissons in the US! I think of Radisson as a half-notch below Sheraton/Marriott, but I’d say the Radisson Miraflores is certainly more on par with a standard Sheraton/Marriott.

LOCATION: Easy walking distance to many top sites. Less than 5 minutes walk to Av. Jose Larco, which is full of shops, cafes and banks. 5-10 minutes walk to Kennedy Park. 10-15 minutes walk to The Larcomar (mall overlooking ocean).

ROOM: Funny, after staying in a few local-style hotels in Cusco/Sacred Valley, which I enjoyed, I was very happy to see a familiar “box” hotel room. Everything was as expected, which felt welcoming and comforting. I appreciated the extra space, desk, easy chair, etc. The modern-looking bedside lights operated by touch and easily dimmed up and down. There was a safe in the closet.

BATHROOM: The granite bathroom was spacious and included a full tub/shower and large vanity (plenty of room for both our toiletries). Amenities were higher end and included the usual plus extra towels, hair conditioner and shower gel. Wall outlets are dual voltage and fit US plugs.

BREAKFAST: We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, esp. sitting by the window (there are many window seats). Hot foods were made to order from a menu. I got the Lomito Saltado Omelet (thin strips of filet mignon on top of eggs) twice, which was super tasty (highly recommend!). The buffet included fresh tropical fruits (including Peruvian ones like Tumbo (Banana Passionfruit), breads/pastries, hams, cheeses, cereals, yogurts, juices and coffee/tea. I loved how the cafe con leche (latte) was served two handed – one pot of bold coffee and one pot of warm milk.

TIP #1: We got a US$10 credit each day at the 4 restaurants/bars in the hotel. I’m not sure if this was part of our rate, or if we received it because I have a Radisson Club card (but I’m not elite), or if all guests get this. Anyway, this was super handy because it allowed us to get either 2 alcoholic drinks, or 1 glass of wine plus 2 bottled waters, or 5 bottled waters. Do not let your credit go to waste! I was tired, so took my wine to the room to relax. There is a nightclub style bar on the roof, and the credit is good there too.

TIP #2: The room has darkening shades behind the wooden blinds. This really helped to block out the light. Be sure to look for the shade cord behind the wooden blinds.

TIP #3: We took Ubers a bunch of times from the hotel. They typically arrived in 5-10 minutes. Ubers were super cheap, like only US$1.35 to go from the hotel to Barranco.
