My fiancée and I stayed here our first night in Lima and absolutely loved it. The decor was beautiful and old fashioned and well maintained. The location was excellent for seeing a variety of places in Lima, especially Miraflores, which wound up being our favorite part. The food they served in the morning was delicious.
But what makes this place to stay so noteworthy was the hospitality of the woman running the place. She was incredible. She made the breakfast in the morning and chatted to us about what we should see. When we were heading out to go to a museum she walked several blocks with us and hailed the cab to make sure we didn't get ripped off on our long ride. On our way back home at the end of our trip, we had some flight problems and had a twelve-hour layover in Lima, and she let us drop our bags off and use the showers for free, and gave us food. She was very kind and helpful and really made a difference in our trip.More
