Arrived at midnight and were greeted by our host, Annie, who then drove us to get a few food supplies before heading to the beach house.
The house was immaculate and Annie made sure we were comfortable before leaving us. The windows all have insect screens which meant we could leave them open, and there were also plenty of fans.
The full kitchen is well-equipped, with a breakfast bar where you can enjoy a glass of wine while deciding what to cook, although we mostly dined outside on the covered deck.
The bed is huge, and we liked to leave the curtains open so that we could see the lagoon when we woke up. There is also ample storage space for suitcases.
It really does take less than a minute to be in the water, and the beach is mostly deserted, we were often the only ones sunning ourselves, or snorkelling. And there is a great restaraunt only 5 minutes walk along the beach.
The bus stops at the end of the driveway, and scooter rental businesses are a 5 minute walk from the house.
Apart from the spectacular views, the pristine beach, and the beach house, the best part of our stay was our beautiful and gracious host, Annie, for whom nothing was a problem. She gave us 5-star treatment, and we feel priveleged to have stayed with her.
